Dogs Sadly for food hygiene reasons we do not allow dogs in the marquee – however we do provide a dog creche courtesy of Bruce’s Doggy Daycare

MORDEN HALL COUNTRY SHOW

Once marshland owned by Westminster Abbey, the Morden estate began its transformation to 'country seat' during the reign of Henry VIII. Discover its early owners.

This will be being held on Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th and Bank Holiday Monday 5th May 2014

Open 10am – 5pm

Have you ever been to the stunning ground of Morden Hall which is a National Trust Property.  If not, this weekend is your chance.
This is a Family Country Show including events such as:
  • Terrier Racing
  • The Goat Show
  • Birds of Prey
  • The Sheep Show
  • Kondini the Human Toolbox Devilstick Peat Children’s Entertainment
  • Circus Workshop
  • Historical Re-enactment
  • 1415 Regiment

Admission on the gate: £7, concessions £6, Children age 5-16 £3,
Family Ticket: £18 (2 adults and 2 children)
Accompanied children under 5 – absolutely FREE

There is the yearly glamorous May Ball, comprising of a Champagne Reception, dinner, dancing.

Tickets sell out fast so if you want to be one of those dressed to kill for the ball you had best get your skates or heels on fast.

Proceeds are shared between The Victoria Foundation and The Orange Tree Theatres Community and Education Programme.

Marks & Spencers development plans for Barnes

M&S Plans confirmed
Marks & Spencer have confirmed that they will be taking the retail space in the new development next to the Coach and Horses on Barnes High Street.  Work will start soon on building a new 6,000 square foot M&S Simply Food branch which will open in the autumn of 2015. The development will also include 4 new flats and the refurbishment of the Claridge House Office building.

Yes you read that correctly, M&S is opening up in Barnes, they are also having “The Best Baker in Barnes” competition & much more, what fun!
